There was also a huge shortage of therapists trained in low vision and the few that were had waiting lists and the therapy was expensive. Over time we came to the conclusion that there could be a better way.
This is how the Lighthouse Low Vision program was born. We have taken all of the instructional best practices that we learned over the years and used that to build a completely online program that is individualized based on a person’s condition and that has checkpoints along the way to ensure there’s a mastery of the information.
